The main goal of the Neurosurgical Implant Research Group is to investigate properties and survival of different cranial, dura mater implant and to develop an intervertebral bioactive glass containing implant for anterior decompression procedures of degenerative cervical spine.

Research topics
The main research interests are biomarkers in diagnostics of acute phase, treatment effects, and outcome of traumatic brain injury, biomaterials in cranial reconstruction and neuro-oncology.
