Sensor Research Group
We develop novel electrochemical sensors based on advanced functional materials, new receptor molecules and new signal transduction methods. Our activities involve characterization of new sensor materials as well as design and engineering of novel electrochemical sensors for various applications, including personal health monitoring. A major goal is to develop calibration-free and maintenance-free chemical sensors for distributed chemical analysis and non-invasive on-body chemical sensing.
