Turun Kliininen Biomateriaalikeskus — TCBC

Turun Kliininen Biomateriaalikeskus (TCBC) tarjoaa modernin tutkimusinfrastruktuurin ja ammattitaitoisen henkilökunnan paikallisille ja ulkomaalaisille vieraileville tutkijoille. Tilat tarjoavat ympäristön korkealaatuisen tutkimuksen suorittamiseen akateemisessa ilmapiirissä ja erinomaiset yhteydet maailmanlaajuiseen biomateriaaliteollisuuteen. Turun yliopiston Lääketieteellisen tiedekunnan Hammaslääketieteen laitoksen Biomateriaalitieteen oppiaineen tutkimus tapahtuu TCBC:ssä.

TCBC kuuluu Nordic Institute of Dental Materialsin (NIOM) Biomaterial Networkiin ja Turun yliopiston Materiaalien ja pintojen tutkimuskeskuksen (MATSURF) laboratorioihin, sekä toimii aktiivisesti International Standardization Organizationin (ISO) biomateriaaleihin liittyvissä komiteoissa.

TCBC on yksi Turun yliopiston ydinlaboratorioista, jossa voi tehdä tutkimusta huippuluokan infrastruktuurilla ja saada asiantuntemusta ei-metallisista biomateriaaleista lääketieteessä ja hammaslääketieteessä. Jos olet kiinnostunut työskentelemään TCBC:ssä, vaihtoehtoina on esimerkiksi tohtorintutkinnon suorittaminen Turun yliopistossa tai yliopistojen välinen tutkimusyhteistyö.
